Tonight will be mostly clear and cold with lows in the low to mid 20s. Wind chills will drop into the teens overnight.

Expect some clouds in the sky on Wednesday with highs only in the 30s across the state. Wind chills will remain in the 20s even into the afternoon. The clouds will tend to break up later in the day, especially in southwestern Kentucky. It will be another cold night Wednesday night with lows in the upper teens to low 20s.

Thursday will be mostly sunny and not as cold with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Friday will be a mostly cloudy day with temperatures back up to near 50.

The warming trend continues into the weekend with highs in the 50s. Monday into Christmas Eve will be well above average with daytime highs in the 50s to even near 60!
