Morning Snow Showers, then Sub-Freezing Temps Tonight

Light – moderate snow is falling across parts of KY this morning. As the snow bands move by, a quick inch of wet snow is possible, and slick roads can be expected.  Light snow will move into Eastern KY this afternoon as the rest of KY dries out from west to east.

Lows will fall below freezing with upper 20s expected by Wednesday morning. Yet, wind chills will range from the upper teens to low 20s.  Unseasonably Cold temps will continue for Wednesday afternoon with highs only in the upper 30s.  Plan on more 20s by Thursday morning with some areas waking up to actual temps in the teens.  Thankfully, it’ll be a sunny day on Thursday, and temps will warm into the upper 40s.   Friday into the weekend bring 50s…and it looks rain-free for now. Stay tuned.
