It will be a chilly start Friday under mostly sunny skies. We’ll see high clouds moving in throughout the day with highs ranging from the mid 40s in northern Kentucky to the lower 50s in southern Kentucky. The warming trend will continue into the weekend with afternoon highs in the lower to middle 50s on both Saturday and Sunday.
A storm system will pass south of the Commonwealth late this weekend, which will bring clouds to the southern half of the state and perhaps a stray rain shower or two near the Tennessee state line.
We’ll continue the warming trend early next week with highs in the 50s through Christmas Day. It will be a touch cooler late in the week with a few rain showers possible Thursday into Friday.
