Tonight will be mostly cloudy and seasonably cold with lows in the low 30s.
Saturday will be quite mild with highs in the low to mid 50s. There will be some high clouds in the sky, especially in southern and central Kentucky with a system along the Gulf coast. More of the same can be expected into Sunday with temperatures a tick warmer into the mid 50s. There may be some showers late Sunday night and early Monday in far southeast Kentucky, but most of the state will remain dry.
Monday will be mostly sunny and very mild for late December standards. Temperatures will top off near 60 degrees. The warmth continues into Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Expect partly cloudy skies Tuesday with a mostly cloudy sky on Christmas Day. Temperatures will climb into the upper 50s and low 60s.
Highs Thursday and Friday will be in the upper 40s to low 50s with a chance of showers on Friday.
