Our skies on Friday won’t be as crystal clear as Thursday, but we’ll still see a fair amount of sunshine on Friday despite it being filtered at times, due to high clouds. However, temperatures will be milder even though we’ll have the increase in clouds. Highs today will range from the middle 40s north to lower 50s south.
Tonight, clouds will thicken up, leaving us mostly cloudy for most of the night and early Saturday morning. Clouds should decrease from west to east early Saturday, with sunshine returning for the midday and afternoon. Some high clouds will likely be over our southern areas again, meaning the sun may be more filtered again there. Temperatures will be milder again, rising into the 50s all across Kentucky.
Moving into next week, quiet and mild conditions will prevail, with some areas likely getting into or close to the 60s by Christmas Eve on Tuesday.
