A storm system over the southeast US is bringing soggy and messy weather to that part of the country. The same system is the culprit behind our cloudier skies this weekend. Although most of Kentucky should stay dry from this system, a few areas near the Tennessee state line have a very small chance for a shower or sprinkle through this evening. However, most should not see anything.
Temperatures today will top out in the middle to upper 50s for highs, while lows tonight will drop back into the 30s.
On Monday, we should see more sunshine than what the weekend brought. That will help in bumping our temperatures up to the upper 50s and lower 60s. By Christmas Eve, a good portion of Kentucky will hit the 60 degree mark.
