It will be chilly overnight with lows in the low to mid 30s. Areas of dense fog will develop, mainly along and to the north of I 64. With temperatures near freezing for some, some slick areas may be possible so use caution traveling early in the morning.
Christmas Eve will be mostly sunny and very mild with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. A few mid 60s are even possible. It will be mostly clear and not too chilly with lows in the upper 30s.
Christmas Day will feature some high clouds, but it will be dry and warm with highs in the mid 60s.
Thursday and Friday will be mostly cloudy with temperatures still into the 60s. A few showers are possible Friday in far western Kentucky. A better chance for rain will arrive by the weekend.
