Unseasonably warm weather is on deck this Christmas Day! Highs will reach the upper 60s for many cities, and this will challenge some standing record highs.  Rain nor snow will hinder any outdoor activities planned today; so, enjoy the weather.  Tonight, expect warmer than average lows in the 40s courtesy of a southerly wind and more clouds.   Thursday and Friday bring more 60s, mainly cloudy skies (with little if any rain chances), but things change by the weekend.

Saturday will remain unseasonably warm as temps soar (yet again) into the upper 60s, but a cold front will cross Sunday morning. As the front moves in, rain chances increase…and rain is likely for the start of your Sunday.  Behind the front, we’re monitoring the small potential for a brief switch over to snow. Otherwise, expect cooler weather for the last couple of days of 2019. Monday, highs will be close to average with low 40s… and Tuesday brings sunshine with more of the same.   For now, it looks dry for New Year’s Eve night…. but cold.   Stay tuned for updates.
