After a foggy morning in many areas, a low-cloud deck will hold on across areas West of I-65 throughout the day. East of I-65, expect more sunshine. Regardless, temps will be around average or a bit above today (near 70°)…since we’ll be on the warmer side of an approaching cold front. The front will cross our state tomorrow (Tuesday), keeping additional clouds in the mix. Rain won’t be a big deal with this system since it’s starved of moisture. Highs for Tuesday will remain mild…near 70°.
Rain will, however, be a bigger deal by the middle of the week due to an area of low pressure moving in Wednesday afternoon through Thursday. There is the potential for up to 2″ – 3″ across parts of KY. So, plan for a rainy Midweek…which includes Halloween day…but drier by the evening.
In the wake of that system, we get a dose of Winter’s Chill. The 1st Freeze of the season will be possible by this weekend… stay tuned.
