Temperatures continue to stay mild as we move through the weekend. Highs today will reach the lower to upper 60s from north to south across Kentucky. Compared to average, we will be 20 degrees or more warmer. Most of the Commonwealth should stay dry on Saturday, with the exception of a few isolated sprinkles or light showers west of I-65.
Tonight, the chance for showers ramps up, as we stay in the 50s overnight.
On Sunday, rain becomes likely and may be heavy at times. A few thunderstorms are possible on Sunday, some of which may be on the strong side across southern Kentucky. The main focus though will be on the significant rainfall totals by early Monday morning. Some areas may pick up more than 2’’. Despite the soggy conditions, we will stay mild with highs in the 60s.
