Tonight will be mostly cloudy and mild with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Scattered showers will be developing, especially after midnight.

Sunday will be a washout with heavy rainfall likely for much of Kentucky. A few gusty thunderstorms cannot be ruled out either as a cold front moves through in the evening and overnight. Rainfall amounts of 1″ to 3″ common for the state with locally higher amounts possible. A Flood Watch is in effect for most of Kentucky through Sunday night.

It will turn colder next week Monday and Tuesday with more clouds than sunshine. Temperatures will fall back to near average, in the 40s as we ring in 2020. Near Year’s Eve looks mostly cloudy and cold with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s around midnight.
