Temperatures will climb this weekend with afternoon highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Although temperatures will be running 10 to 15 degrees above average Saturday and Sunday, humidity levels won’t be too bad.
Big changes are on the way for early next week as a cold front moves through late Sunday night into Monday morning, which is coincidentally the first day of Autumn. The chance of rain will move in after midnight Sunday night and will be gone by lunch time on Monday. Most of the computer models keep our rain potential under a quarter of an inch through Monday.
The cooler air will be the other story associated with the frontal passage. Expect highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s on Monday and Tuesday with overnight lows in the 50s Monday night. A few isolated showers will be possible Wednesday or Thursday before we start to warm again Friday.
