After Today, a Brief Relief From the High Heat & Humidity

It’s Friday the 13th, and the weather forecast may be a bit frightening for you IF you’re tired of this High Heat.  However, enjoy this good news:  Cooler/Less Muggy will move in soon:-)

A cold front will cross our area this evening through the overnight, and it’ll usher in slightly cooler/drier air behind it.  Today, ahead of the front, record challenging heat is expected again with Mid-Upper 90s and Heat indices around 100°.  By tomorrow, in the wake of the front, we’ll enjoy 60s in the morning with 80s for the afternoon and lower humidity…nice!

As the front crosses this evening, isolated showers/storms will be possible. However, it shouldn’t wash-out any high school football games.

By Sunday, a southerly wind will increase the temps back into the low 90s…with high heat on deck again for early next week (along with little rain chances).
