We get to enjoy BEAUTIFUL weather the next couple of days! A cold front has cleared out of the area, and drier air will gradually settle in as the day goes on. Dew points (which indicate the amount of moisture in the air) will go from the 60s this morning to the 50s later this afternoon. That will feel great, and high pressure will allow for LOTS of sunshine. Highs will hover around the low-mid 80s. Tonight, lows will be able to fall into the mid-upper 50s for most cities…making it the coolest night for Louisville since mid June. Highs for Thursday will remain in the Mid 80s. Yet, a southerly wind will return by Friday…increasing the muggy feel and increasing temps into the upper 80s ahead of a weak cold front.
Friday through Labor Day: Expect Upper 80s each day with Isolated PM showers possible (20% coverage). So, get out and enjoy!
