We’ll see more rain showers as we head through our Friday. While it won’t rain all day long, there will be more wet time than dry time around most of the Commonwealth throughout the day. It will be very mild with temperatures in the 50s all day long.
A cold front will move through Friday night, which means we can expect a much cooler day on Saturday with gusty winds as well. An upper level disturbance will drift over the region Saturday, which will likely lead to some very light rain and snow showers, especially along and east of I-65. With surface temperatures above freezing throughout the day, no problems are expected on the roadways.
Rain totals through Saturday will range from 1 to 2 inches. It will be dry Sunday and Monday with highs near 50 degrees. Another system will move in on Tuesday, which could bring a few rain and snow showers to the area. Stay tuned!
