The first half of the weekend will be colder than the end of the workweek, but it will also not be as much of a washout. Scattered showers will be possible across Kentucky on Saturday with some snow possibly mixing in. Northern and eastern Kentucky will have the highest chance of seeing snow, but whatever falls won’t be sticking. In the rare case it does, it would be on grassy surfaces and melt quickly. Temperatures will hold steady in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Tonight, skies will gradually begin to clear from west to east across the Commonwealth. Temperatures will drop into the upper 20s and lower 30s.
Expect sunnier skies for Sunday as temperatures top out in the middle 40s to lower 50s.
