We’ll enjoy one more nice day of sunshine across Kentuckiana today before cloud cover thickens up tomorrow and rain arrives Thursday evening! Currently we have temps in the 30s with clear skies and we’ll see highs in the mid to upper 40s this afternoon.
A frontal boundary moving in from the west plus a few waves of low pressure will bring rain from late Thursday through late Saturday. Rain could be heavy at times with a few inches expected in some spots – right now guidance looks to be around the 2-4″ mark with some locations getting higher amounts. Heaviest rain looks like it may arrive late Friday into early Saturday.
We dry out Sunday, but could see some flooding concerns for streams, creeks and low-lying areas. No flooding concerns on the Ohio as of now, but we do have more active weather on the way for next week so its something we’ll be watching.
