It will be mostly cloudy overnight with showers developing late after midnight for much of Kentucky. Temperatures will be rising into the upper 40s to low 50s by morning.
Morning showers are possible in central and southeastern Kentucky on Tuesday, but expect an increase in sunshine with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.
Wednesday will be cloudy with more showers. It will also be very mild with highs in the mid to even upper 60s for some.
Behind a cold front, it will turn cooler on Thursday with temperatures back into the 40s. On Friday, a warm front will lift through bringing a chance for a brief wintry mix across northern Kentucky later in the day. It will change to rain Friday night and continue into Saturday as warm air moves in.
By Sunday into early next week, Arctic air arrives with highs back into the 30s.
