It will be dry and much cooler as we head into Thursday with afternoon highs near 40 degrees. Clouds will gradually diminish throughout the day with mostly sunny skies by the afternoon.
Another storm system will approach the area on Friday bringing the potential for a light wintry mix to areas near the Ohio River. Any wintry precipitation will eventually changeover to rain as temperatures gradually warm on Friday into Friday night. The heaviest rain will come on Saturday along with gusty winds. It will be a relatively mild day with highs in the 50s.
A strong cold front will clear all of the moisture out Saturday night with much cooler air moving in for the second half of the weekend. Expect highs in the upper 20 to lower 30s on Sunday with similar afternoon temperatures early next week.
