It is a much cooler morning here in Kentuckiana with temps in the 20s, but feeling like the teens and mostly cloudy skies. Highs this afternoon will struggle to reach 40 and likely feel cooler thanks to a steady breeze out of the north and northeast. The clouds stick around today ahead of our next system moving in late tonight into Saturday. Late this evening southern Indiana communities could get a brief period of wintry mix before rain arrives overnight for all of Kentuckiana.
Rain and milder temps for Saturday as an area of low pressure moves through our area. Rain likely ends by early evening. Much cooler air moves in Saturday night into Sunday and will also stick around into early next week. Early morning lows in the teens could easily feel like the single digits through early Wednesday. Temps gradually rise as we get into the second half of next week.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy and chilly. High: 40. Wind: E 5-10 mph.
TONIGHT: Wintry mix north. Rain overnight. Low: 38. Wind: ESE 5-10 mph.
SATURDAY: Occasional rain and breezy. High: 55. Wind: SW 5-10 mph.
