It will be a clear and cold night with lows in the upper teens to near 20. The good news is, the wind will be light so there won’t be a wind chill factor.
Clouds will be on the increase on Wednesday as a low pressure develops off to the west. With a south wind, it will be milder with temperatures back into the low to mid 40s.
Thursday will be cloudy with highs near 50. Showers will develop in western Kentucky in the afternoon and spread east overnight Thursday into Friday. Showers will continue on Friday, especially in central and eastern Kentucky. Highs will drop back into the 40s.
An upper level low on Saturday brings the chance for rain/snow showers. There is a chance for minor and grassy accumulations in eastern and northern Kentucky, but it shouldn’t cause many problems. High temperatures over the weekend will top out in the upper 30s.
