Clouds will stick around through Thursday morning with temperatures near or slightly below freezing around daybreak. Showers will hold off for most of the day, likely showing up around parts of southern and western Kentucky during the early to middle part of the afternoon. Expect high temperatures in the 40s.
Showers will expand to the north during the late afternoon and evening hours. Rain will continue Thursday night into Friday with rain and snow showers possible on Saturday. No accumulating snowfall is expected at this time. Rainfall totals will range from a half of an inch to an inch through Saturday night. A few flurries or light snow showers will be possible on Sunday. Expect highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s over the weekend.
It will be slightly warmer next week with rain possible by Wednesday.
