An area of widespread rain will continue across the eastern half of Kentucky Friday morning, and gradually move east through midday. By the afternoon, this rain should start to exit the Commonwealth. However, scattered areas of rain will be possible for the remainder of the day, and likely increase somewhat this afternoon. Temperatures today will top out in the 40s.
Tonight, chances for showers remain. As colder air works in, a few showers may mix with snow. No snow accumulation is expected. Temperatures will drop into the 30s by Saturday morning.
Scattered showers, drizzle, and a few snow showers mixing in will again be possible on Saturday. Northern Kentucky and the Bluegrass Region have the highest chance of seeing snow. Once again, snow accumulation is not expected.
