Rain showers will continue through our Friday night and into Saturday. Cooler air will start to move across the Commonwealth early Saturday, which will allow a few light snow showers to mix with the rain at times. No accumulating snowfall is expected at this time.
Rain and snow will taper off for most of the Commonwealth (with the exception of extreme northern Kentucky) Saturday afternoon into Saturday evening, but the clouds will linger into Sunday. Another system will move in from the west late in the day Sunday, bringing the chance of a few light rain showers to areas along and west of I-65.
Expect highs in the upper 30s Saturday with highs in the lower to middle 40s Sunday. Temperatures won’t change much through the middle of next week and the clouds will likely stick around all week long.
