January finishes up cool and quiet

Clouds will thicken up, and it will be chilly and dry tonight with lows near freezing. Mostly cloudy and dry tomorrow with highs in the low 40s. 

Wednesday is looking mainly dry during the day, but a light wintry mix is possible by Wednesday evening – at this time, very little impact is expected. 

Thursday is quiet and cool with some sunshine and highs in the mid-40s. A bit milder into the weekend with highs hovering around 50° Friday through Sunday, then warmer upper 50s to near 60° by Monday. 

January is wrapping up on a quiet note, and there’s not much happening as we head into February. Long-range data suggests a cold snap returns around February 5th.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy, chilly and dry.  Low: 31°.  Wind: SW 10-15.

TUESDAY: More clouds and cool.  High: 42°.  Wind: SW 5-10.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy, cool, dry daytime, light mix at night.  High: 44°. Wind: WNW 5-10.
