Rain Changing To Snow

More showers will fall tonight with lows in the mid 30s north to low 40s south. Watch out for areas of dense fog as well.

Showers will continue Thursday, mainly in eastern Kentucky. Temperatures will top out into the low to mid 40s.

An upper level disturbance brings snow showers Thursday night into Friday and accumulation looks likely. The highest amounts will fall along and east of I-65 where 1″ to locally 3″ of snow is possible by Friday afternoon. Highs will be in the mid to upper 30s.

Another disturbance brings a chance for light rain or snow showers on Saturday, but accumulation doesn’t look as likely with temperatures well above freezing near 40.

Expect more rain to move in late Sunday and continue into the start of next week as temperatures warm into the low to mid 50s.
