Snow showers will move across the Commonwealth through the overnight hours with most of it wrapping up early Friday morning. Roads will be slippery for parts of the state, which is why a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through late Friday morning. Snow totals will be highest across the eastern half of the state. Totals east of I-75 could top out between 2 and 3 inches. Areas between I-65 and I-75 could see 1 to 2 inches through Friday morning, with under an inch likely west of I-65. Road conditions should improve for most areas by Friday afternoon.
We’ll see another system move into the area on Saturday, which could bring a round of light snow and rain. Impacts from this system appear very minor at this time. The entire state will be dry Saturday night into early Sunday with rain returning late Sunday into Monday. The soggy pattern continues next week with a chance of precipitation every day of the week.
