Scattered showers and storms rolled across much of the state this morning. There will be less rain this afternoon, but isolated showers & storms will be possible ahead of a cold front as it rolls by. Isolated severe storms could also pop-up as the front crosses. Regardless, it’ll be another very warm day with 70s (& windy with gusts over 25mph at times), but temps drop like a rock behind the front.
Lows tonight will drop into the 30s for many cities, with possible wind chills in the 20s. Therefore, plan on a COLD start to your weekend … a big temperature swing! Highs Saturday will stay in the 40s for most cities, but there will be some sunshine. Sunday morning starts cold with 30s, but 50s are expected by the afternoon. However, Sunday evening brings a return of rain that will linger into Monday morning.
Next week, temps rebound… into the 60s.
