A Rainy Morning, but Drier for the Afternoon

A cold front is crossing the state, and numerous showers can be expected ahead of and along it.  Some downpours are also possible, but rain chances & intensity go down behind the front.  Highs will hover around 60°, but temps may slowly drop off once the front crosses your area.  Otherwise, expect lighter NW winds by this afternoon and dry weather for the PM commute.  Temps will fall into the 40s tonight, and mainly cloudy skies will hold on throughout our Wednesday. There could be an isolated shower Wednesday, but it will remain mild with highs near 60°.

Warmer air rushes in by Thursday courtesy of a SW wind… with highs near 70°. This brief warm up will take place ahead of a cold front that’ll bring storms to KY for Thursday afternoon/evening.   Behind the front, cooler (50s) with sunshine for Friday.

This weekend brings showers for Saturday with drier conditions Sunday…and temps in the 50s. Stay tuned for updates.
