An area of low pressure slid across KY this morning, and it helped create a few showers along with an upper level disturbance. Thankfully, high pressure will have an influence from the NW by this afternoon…drying things out. Most of the state will actually tap into a little sunshine today (most likely for areas near the Ohio River…less likely for areas East of I-75). Highs this afternoon will be seasonable in the Mid 50s to around 60 degrees.
Tonight, quiet weather is expected with lows near 40 degrees. It’ll be a quiet morning on Tuesday, but a warm front will lift north by the afternoon/evening…increasing the chance for showers/storms. Storms are likely overnight into early Wednesday as a Low slides east across the state. Areas west of I-65 will have a small chance for severe storms…so have ways of getting severe weather alerts tuesday night. Highs Tuesday will hover around 60.
High pressure takes control by Midday Wednesday, and highs will remain in the 60s. Sunshine is on deck for Thursday, and highs will reach the 70s. Showers and storms return Friday into the weekend with 70s sticking around…stay tuned for updates.
