Nice Today, but Changes Arrive Friday

It’s going to be another Nice & Mild day! Highs will reach the low-mid 60s courtesy of southerly winds pumping in Mild air ahead of a cold front that will arrive tonight. Additional clouds will move across the sky today, but we don’t have to worry about any precipitation. Enjoy!
As mentioned, a cold front crosses tonight … bringing big changes for Friday. Highs will be roughly 20 degrees colder for Friday (40s) as a strong NW wind ushers in Colder air. Plus, an upper level disturbance moving by will help to create some light snow showers for parts of KY (mainly east of I-65) during the 1st half of the day. However, not much more than a dusting is expected (mainly for N. KY and some areas east of I-75). Othewise, get ready for WINDY conditions with sustained winds of 20-25mph and gusts of 30-40mph…blustery! {TODAY is a great time to secure anything that could blow around outside on your property because it’ll be windy by Friday morning}.
Expect a frigid start to your weekend with 20s on deck for Saturday morning. However, High pressure will have a firm grip on our weather… leading to lots of sunshine! So, highs will rebound to the seasonable low-mid 50s by Saturday afternoon. Sunday, it gets even better with low-mid 60s on deck for highs! All weekend, it’ll be rain free…enjoy!
Rain returns to the forecast Monday afternoon/evening into Tuesday as the next storm system moves into our Region. Highs Monday will remain in the 60s.
**Make sure to set your clocks FORWARD 1 hour before bed on Saturday night. Daylight Saving time begins at 2AM Sunday morning. Get ready for later sunsets!**
