There will be a couple of cold fronts to cross our area between today and Friday morning. Today’s cold front will cross this afternoon, and it’ll bring some additional clouds and a wind shift from the SW to the NW. Rain won’t be a big factor with it, but we can’t rule out a stray shower or two for areas East of I-75. Highs will reach the low-mid 60s today, and more 60s are on deck tomorrow. That means this cold front won’t bring any major cold snaps for us. However, a 2nd cold front will cross late Thursday night into Friday morning…and THIS one WILL bring us a brief COLD SNAP. So, highs will only reach the 40s by Friday with lows dropping below freezing by Saturday morning into the 20s.
The cold snap lets go of its grip by Saturday afternoon with highs back up to the “average” in the low-mid 50s. Sunday, it gets even warm with 60s. It’ll remain mild into next week, but it looks like Monday-Tuesday will bring the next good chance for rain. Stay tuned.
