Temperatures will tumble into the 30s late Thursday night into Friday morning. Frost will be possible around parts of the Commonwealth early Friday morning. Sunshine will help to push temperatures into the 50s Friday afternoon before we fall into the 30s again Friday night. In fact, parts of Kentucky may see temps near the freezing mark late Friday night into Saturday morning, especially east of I-65. For that reason a Freeze Watch is in effect Friday night into Saturday morning. Be sure to cover up any sensitive vegetation or move them indoors if possible.
We’ll see a nice recovery Saturday afternoon with highs near 60 degrees under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Rain returns to the area Saturday night into Easter Sunday with highs in the lower to middle 60s Sunday afternoon. Rain will wrap up on Monday, but it will be cooler with highs only in the lower to middle 50s. It will stay cool next week with afternoon highs near 50 and overnight lows in the 30s.
