For the second night in a row, most of the state is under a Freeze Warning. A Frost Advisory is in effect for the areas not covered by the Freeze Warning (map above). Regardless, be sure to cover up any sensitive plants or move them indoors as temperatures will range from the mid 20 to the mid 30s through early Thursday morning.
Expect highs in the middle to upper 50s Thursday afternoon under partly cloudy skies. Rain returns to the area on Friday with highs once again in the middle to upper 50s.
It will be a touch warmer this weekend with highs in the mid to upper 50s on Saturday and in the lower to middle 60s on Sunday. We’ll stay dry Saturday, but a few showers will be possible on Sunday. A warming trend is likely next week with 70s possible by midweek.
