Remains Unseasonably Cool, and PM Showers Are Possible

It was a COLD start to the day, and some cities had record lows this morning…including Louisville and Lexington which both tied the previous record lows.  Thankfully, the sunshine will be abundant through the morning and early afternoon.  However, a weak cold front will cross the state later this afternoon into this evening…bringing a few showers with it.  Many will miss out on the rain, but some could catch a few light showers or a brief downpour later today. Highs will reach the Mid-upper 50s (warmer than yesterday…but still cooler than average by 10 degrees or so).

Behind the cold front, get ready for another cold night.  Overnight lows will, again, fall below freezing for most cities.  So, continue protecting those sensitive plants. Thursday brings another round of Mid-Upper 50s with rain-free conditions. Friday, brings highs near 60 degrees, bur rain is likely as another cold front moves in.

Your weekend brings dry weather Saturday with highs near 60 degrees, but showers will be possible Sunday (with highs near 60 degrees).

It looks like warmer weather returns next week. Stay tuned….
