A cold front sinking south across Kentucky tonight will spread a band of chilly rain. Lows will drop into the 30s. In fact, a frost advisory is in effect for western parts of the state so make sure you once again protect the tender annuals or you may lose them overnight.
A few clouds will linger early Saturday morning in eastern Kentucky, but the sun quickly returns. It will be a cool day with highs in the mid to upper 50s.
Clouds move back in Saturday night into Sunday with showers on Sunday. The best chance for rain will be in the southern half of the state.
We start off next week mostly sunny with temperatures back into the mid to upper 60s.
More showers or t’storms are possible by late next week with highs near 70.
