Chilly morning then sunny afternoon

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Temps in the 20s this morning with wind chills in the teens! It is a very chilly start to our day, but temps will be a bit warmer than yesterday as we go into the afternoon. We’ll continue the mid-week warm up as high pressure stays over us and more sunshine returns to the forecast.
Overnight Thursday into Friday, an area of low pressure and trailing cold front will move in from the northwest and bring some chilly rainfall to our area. There is a slight chance for a little sleet and snow to mix in. This system will also help cool us off for the weekend with a few snow showers lasting into Saturday.
FORECAST:
TODAY: Nice sunshine and pleasant. High: 47°. Wind: SW 5-10 mph.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies. Low: 32°. Wind: Calm.
WEDNESDAY: More sunshine, nice for January. High: 50°. Wind: SW 5-10 mph.
