Louisville driver’s licensing reopens Monday after temporary closure

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) said a regional driver’s license office that was closed last week is back open Monday morning.

The Louisville Driver Licensing Regional Office in Hurstbourne on Leesgate Road was closed on April 15 after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19. During the closure, the office was sanitized according to state and local guidelines.

Appointments from last week were rescheduled or reassigned the two other offices in Louisville – one at Bowman Field and another at Buechel Station. Visit drive.ky.gov to see a full list of KYTC offices.
